Cyclone dust collector is one of the widely used dust collectors. It can be used independently in applications, or shared in parallel and series. Cyclone dust collectors have the advantages of simple structure, low cost, space saving, no moving parts, easy operation and maintenance, and low power consumption. Suitable for industries such as metallurgy, casting, building materials, chemical engineering, cement, etc., it is used to capture dry non fibrous granular dust and high density smoke dust for dust removal, and can be used as a material recycling equipment.
The cyclone dust collector consists of a cylinder, a cone, an inlet pipe, an outlet pipe, and an ash discharge pipe. The working process of a cyclone dust collector is that when the dusty gas enters the cyclone separator from the tangential inlet, the airflow will change from linear motion to circular motion. The vast majority of the rotating airflow follows the wall of the cylinder in a spiral shape and flows downwards towards the cone, commonly referred to as external rotating airflow. The dusty gas generates centrifugal force during rotation, which throws dust particles with a relative density greater than that of the gas towards the wall of the reactor. Once the dust particles come into contact with the wall, they lose their radial inertial force and fall down along the wall with downward momentum and gravity, entering the ash discharge pipe. When the externally rotating gas that rotates downwards reaches the cone, it approaches the center of the dust collector due to the contraction of the cone. According to the principle of "moment of rotation" invariance, as the tangential velocity increases, the centrifugal force acting on the dust particles also increases. When the airflow reaches a certain position at the lower end of the cone, it rotates in the same direction from the middle of the cyclone separator, reversing from bottom to top, and continues to spiral flow, that is, internal rotation airflow_ The purified gas is discharged through the exhaust pipe, and a portion of the uncaptured dust particles are also discharged from it.
